Thomas Zaldivar Atascadero CA Obituary—Worship Pastor and Music Director Thomas Bradley Zaldivar Dies Tragically
Atascadero, CA – April 16, 2025 – The community of Atascadero is mourning the sudden and tragic passing of Thomas Bradley Zaldivar, a deeply cherished Worship Pastor and Music Director at Berean Bible Fellowship. Thomas, affectionately known by many as a passionate leader, musician, and friend, died unexpectedly this week, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and service.
A Life Devoted to Faith and Service
Thomas Zaldivar was not only a gifted musician and worship leader but a servant-hearted man who used his talents to glorify God and uplift others. At Berean Bible Fellowship, he led worship with heartfelt passion, guiding his congregation into spiritual reflection and praise week after week. He also served the community through his role at Grace Central Coast – North County Campus, where his music and leadership touched many lives.
In a tribute posted by Laura Foddri II, the family shared:
“We are heartbroken to share that Thomas Zaldivar unexpectedly died this week; being ushered into the presence of our Lord and Savior. We are thankful he is fully well and in the presence of Jesus. Details about a memorial will be shared soon, but in the meantime, we ask for your privacy and prayers as we grieve this tremendous loss as a family.”
A Multifaceted Life
Outside of ministry, Thomas had a wide range of professional talents. He worked at Sempra Energy, SoCalGas, and was a Chef/Barista at Bru Coffeehouse, where his creativity and warmth were evident in everything he did. His love for people and service extended into every sphere of his life—whether behind a guitar, serving coffee, or helping others through his work.
Thomas was a proud Atascadero native, having attended Atascadero High School and later studied at Cuesta College. He remained closely connected to his roots, contributing to the local community in countless ways. 
A Heartfelt Legacy
Friends, family, church members, and colleagues remember Thomas as someone who radiated joy, carried an infectious smile, and lived with unwavering faith. His music ministry brought comfort and strength to many, and his sudden loss has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew him.
