Medfield Fire: Second-Alarm House Fire Breaks Out on Oxbow Road in Medfield, MA

Medfield Fire – Medfield, MA—April 15, 2025 — Emergency crews are responding to a second-alarm house fire at 7 Oxbow Road in Medfield, Massachusetts, on Tuesday morning. The fire, reported shortly before noon, has prompted a large mutual aid response from surrounding communities.

According to the Medfield Police Department, all residents have been safely evacuated, and there are no reported injuries at this time. Authorities are asking members of the public to avoid the area while emergency crews continue firefighting operations and work to secure the scene.

Multiple departments have responded to assist the Medfield Fire Department, including

  • Norfolk Engine and Walpole Engine were both dispatched to the scene
  • Medway Ladder unit is also en route
  • Westwood Ambulance to assist on the scene
  • The Sherborn Engine is assigned to provide station coverage
  • Sharon Ambulance is also covering the Medfield station during the response

Smoke was visible from surrounding areas as firefighters worked to contain the blaze. The cause of the fire has not been determined, and fire officials are expected to conduct an investigation once the scene is secured.
